About Duff's from Lily Wilde
Hey Everybody! Just a quick note to those of you who haven't been to Duff's Garage. This place has a really cool, funky (the good kind) ambience including framed Vargas Girl-type pictures and autographed photos of famous performers, old fashioned diner-type green booths, and a full bar that's actually properly stocked, for those of you who partake in a nip from time to time. Plus they have PBR on tap. We encourage as many dancers, hammy or green bean-esque, as will fit comfortably on the dance floor in front of us to do their thing. It makes us happy to see you dance, always has!
Love, Ms. Lily
P.S. We like this place a lot and think you will too. The folks that own and run Duff's are very nice people and the vibe in the venue reflects that.

And from the Cascade Blues Association.
Let me tell you, Duff's Garage was THE coolest after-hours spot in Portland during the Waterfront Blues Festival. It was one of several clubs that allowed for post-Festival extended Blues listening. I was able to make it to the shows by Junior Watson and band one night, and the Nick Moss ensemble on another. The crowd was delighted those evenings with even more guest appearances by Tommy Castro, our own Curtis Salgado, Paul deLay and others. A number of musicians could also be found in the audience, enjoying the good time and camaraderie. Duff's was even listed in John Foyston's Oregonian Blues Festival recap article as "Best Off-Site Show."

John Foyston, The Oregonian
...one of the best roots-rock/ Americana rooms in the city, a place where you can hear the rockabilly of Cave Catt Sammy one night and hot jazz from the Kung Pao Chickens the next."
